Booking and Payment
To confirm your booking, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This secures your chosen date and time.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before your ceremony. If payment isn’t received by this time, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
Once your deposit has been received, you’ll receive written confirmation that your date is secured.
Cancellations and Refunds
Your deposit is non-refundable as it covers the time spent preparing your ceremony and holding your date.
If you need to cancel after the full balance has been paid, a partial refund (excluding the deposit) may be offered depending on the circumstances and how much notice is given.
If I ever have to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, or I will do my best to help arrange an alternative celebrant for you.
Changes to Your Booking
If you need to change your date or time, I’ll always try to accommodate where possible. Please let me know as soon as you can so I can check availability and update your booking details.
Any changes to your ceremony script or details should also be confirmed in writing before your ceremony date.
Your Ceremony
I’ll work closely with you to design a ceremony that truly reflects who you are and what the day means to you. The final version of your script will be shared with you for approval before your ceremony, so you can make sure everything feels perfect.
Liability
I cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations or problems beyond my control — for example, extreme weather, travel issues, or venue complications.
If your ceremony has legal elements (for example, a wedding requiring registration), it’s your responsibility to make sure all legal paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your booking and paying the deposit, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions in full.
