Hello, I’m Paul Alland, The Alternative Celebrant.
I’m based in Hampshire and qualified as a professional celebrant in 2022, proudly achieving a distinction in my training. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of conducting many funerals and weddings, each one unique, personal, and deeply meaningful.
As a warm, compassionate, and empathic celebrant, I believe every ceremony should tell a story – one that truly reflects the people at its heart. My role is to listen, understand, and bring your vision to life, whether that means honouring a loved one’s journey or celebrating a union in a way that feels authentic and spiritual.
While I cover all types of funerals, my passion also lies in alternative weddings – from Gothic style to Handfasting ceremonies that embrace individuality, creativity, and love in all its beautiful forms. Each service I create is bespoke and carefully tailored, weaving together words, symbolism, and atmosphere to capture the essence of who you are.
